4 Person Handicap RELAY – 4 leg relay event including 2x 3km, 1x 4 km & 1 mile (last runner)
JUNIOR (U14) RELAY -– 4 legs of 2km each

Club Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities can participate in the 4 leg relay of varying distances with all laps starting and finishing on our world-class athletics arena right here on home turf in Christchurch.
Gather together a team of four from your club to enjoy this relay event. Then join us for the prize-giving for "Club of the Year" , our various athletes of the week and the prestigous Participation awards.
Food will be available to purchase.
There is are some rolling banks around the hub, some of which we may be able to access as part of the run course. The final relay route is still being planned as construction and building work is still being completed at Ngā Puna Wai.

This is a four person team relay. The aim is for the team to predict their overall time. The winning team is the one closest to their predicted time, more details on entry info below.
The adult relay event will have 4 laps of varying lengths: 2x3km,1x4km and the final runner completes the relay running the 1 mile around the track. The junior relay has 4 legs of 2km each.
A flat hard surface course using the Ngā Puna Wai surrounds,starting and finishing on the stadium track.
This event is open only to club runners.
Adult & junior relays from 6.00 & 6:30pm respectively.
Parking will be accessed from Augustine Drive. You will be directed to park in the carpark first, and then it will overflow onto the grass field nearby.
ENTRIES CLOSE: 5:30pm Friday 9th October at NPW
Team categories: Open to club members only with social and volunteer club members very welcome; Teams can be single or mixed genders.
Pricing: $20 per Team ($5 per person); $12 ($3 per person) for Junior Relay
ESTIMATING YOUR TEAM TIME
All teams are required to estimate each runners leg time and the total time for the team If your team is really fast you may be set off a little behind others to ensure we have an exciting finish.
The winning team is the team who gets closest to their estimated time, so be realistic.
A team card & numbers to record actual lap times and total running time on are to be collected on race day.
The team cards are to be handed in after your team has completed the relay.
