Community teams welcome - simply turn up at least 30 minutes before your race starts and we will enter your team. Cost is $20 per person 18 years and over and $10 per person for those Under 18.
Relays are a great way to step up to racing by being part of a team. The Woodend Relays is a great off-road relay and a highlight of the Athletics Canterbury winter season. We extend a warm welcome to this opportunity to try cross country running as a team.
Lionel Fox
This event is in memory of a famous local Canterbury Christchurch runner - Lionel Fox. Lionel Ernest Fox (29 September 1912 – 1 April 1978). Lionel was a New Zealand long-distance athlete who represented NZ at the 1950 British Empire Games.
