EVENT INFO
The Rawhiti Races is the first of the fast- paced individual runs of the season. It is a challenging event over the ups & downs of Rawhiti domain.
The course for 2022 is a little different from previous years with the start for the first two races 2k and 3k shifted to the start/finish of the 400m track and the 2k half lap also in a new place.
There is now a path and garden between the track and the forest – PLEASE DO NOT walk through the garden. See the map for full details.

In memory of Jane Paterson
This cross-country run is named in memorandum after the daughter of the last manager of the Halswell Quarry. The naming legacy and relationship between Canterbury Athletics and the Halswell Quarry goes a long way back and was where this event was first run.
