The Rawhiti Races is the first of the fast- paced individual runs of the season. It is a challenging event over the ups & downs of Rawhiti domain.

 

There is a path and garden between the track and the forest – PLEASE DO NOT walk through the garden. See the map for full details.

In memory of Jane Paterson

This cross-country run is named in memorandum after the daughter of the last manager of the Halswell Quarry. The naming legacy and relationship between Canterbury Athletics and the Halswell Quarry goes a long way back and was where this event was first run.
